Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Setix collects through this website (setix.ai), why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it. It covers the website only. The Setix protocol and services described on this site are in development; if and when they become available, any data practices specific to those services will be governed by separate terms.
We have deliberately built this website to collect as little as possible. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. The only personal information we receive from you is what you choose to send us through our contact form.
Who is responsible for your information
Setix is the controller of the personal information described here. Setix is a single, accountable operator, in formation as a legal entity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This Policy will be updated to name the established entity once its formation is complete.
Because we publish no email addresses, all contact, including privacy requests, is made through the contact form at setix.ai/contact.
What we collect
Information you give us through the contact form. When you submit the form, we receive:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the inquiry category (“who you are”) you select; and
- the contents of your message.
You decide what to put in your message. Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your inquiry.
Technical information needed to run and protect the site. When you visit the site or submit the form:
- Our hosting and content-delivery provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address, browser/user-agent, and timestamps) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- When you submit the form, our anti-spam provider processes a verification token and your IP address to confirm you are a person and not an automated bot. This check is designed to be privacy-preserving: it is used only to distinguish humans from bots and is not used to track you across other websites.
What we do not do. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, we do not set tracking or advertising cookies, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not track you across other sites or services.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- read, route, and respond to your inquiry;
- maintain a record of our correspondence with you;
- protect the site against spam, abuse, and security threats; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Our legal bases
Where data-protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law) applies, we rely on the following bases to process the limited information above:
- Your request and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries you send us and in operating, securing, and improving the website;
- Steps taken at your request before any potential agreement, where your inquiry concerns working with us; and
- Legal obligations, where we are required to retain or disclose information.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered your rights and interests and limited our collection accordingly.
Who processes information for us
We rely on a small number of carefully chosen service providers, who process information only on our instructions:
- Hosting and content delivery / anti-bot, delivers and secures the website and runs the human-verification check on the contact form.
- Transactional email delivery, transmits your submitted message from the website to our internal mailbox so we can respond.
- Business email (mailboxes), where we receive, read, and store correspondence.
We do not share your personal information with any other third parties for their own purposes, and we never sell it.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process information in countries outside the United Arab Emirates, including the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the contractual data-protection commitments offered by those providers.
How long we keep it
We keep your message and our related correspondence only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward (currently, up to 24 months from our last contact with you), unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing relationship between us. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- request a portable copy of information you provided to us; and
- withdraw consent where we relied on it (without affecting prior processing).
If you are in California, you may also request to know or delete the personal information we hold and may opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, note that we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form at setix.com/contact. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Children
This website is intended for businesses, institutions, and professional audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit how much of it we hold in the first place.
Privacy contact
A dedicated privacy contact will be designated as Setix approaches production. Until then, please direct any privacy question or request through the contact form at setix.com/contact.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and we will take reasonable steps to highlight material changes.
