Usman Mustafa is the Founder of Setix. For more than fifteen years, he worked at the front line of enterprise security and digital transformation, protecting the systems of large organizations around the world, and helping them adopt new technology without losing control of it. He holds advanced credentials across cybersecurity and networking, his work has been recognized internationally, and he is the co-author of AI Powered Development: A Security Blueprint, a practical guide to building with artificial intelligence while keeping it secure.

That vantage point, security, at the moment AI began to mature, is where Setix started. Usman became convinced that AI agents would soon do real work autonomously, transacting on people's behalf at machine speed, and that the rails for them to do it safely simply did not exist. Payment systems were built for humans. Trust between parties who had never met still meant trusting an institution. The model broke the moment software began transacting like software.

So he built the missing layer. Setix runs on the principle that ran through his years in security, verify, don't trust, now built into infrastructure for machines: agents transact on outcomes, settlement is final and provable, control stays with the user, and the claims that matter can be checked rather than believed.
